Project Lead The Way

PLTW Oregon Logo

The Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech) and Project Lead the Way (PLTW) partner to provide early college credit options to students in the state of Oregon.

Oregon Tech works with certified PLTW teachers to offer ENGR 101 and ENGR 102 though Sponsored Dual Credit. Effective fall 2019, Oregon Tech is sun setting offering college credit to high school students through PLTW end-of-course assessments. Oregon Tech is limiting its award of PLTW college credit to high school students to introductory engineering courses that are more transferable and best protect the student's investment.

We encourage PLTW students who plan to attend Oregon Tech to talk to their Oregon Tech faculty advisor about how other PLTW courses might account for college credit in the student's desired program.

Teachers who are interested in offering credit through PLTW and Oregon Tech should contact carleen.drago@oit.edu
