 541.885.1024

Ka’iulani, known as Kai at Oregon Tech, began her journey here in Klamath Falls in 2008. She was recruited to play volleyball and she truly loved her experience as a student-athlete. Kai has had various jobs on campus as a student worker and she now finds herself in a position that she is passionate about. When she is not assisting students and families in the office, you can find her coaching varsity volleyball at a local high school in Klamath Falls, playing with her dog, Hilo, cooking, dancing hula, working on projects, or spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys playing board games, card games, sports, or any activity that includes competition.

What's Great About Oregon Tech

Oregon Tech is amazing because every student is given the opportunity for real-world experience in their field prior to graduation.

Favorite Place on Campus

The "OT." Hiking to the OT behind the campus is like the challenge we face as a student. It is hard, it is painful, it’s an uphill battle, and the strong will finish the hike. Once I get to the top, there is an overwhelming feeling of accomplishment, self-satisfaction, and intrinsic reward. This is similar to the experience a student feels on his/her graduation day. At the top of the hill the views are spectacular, especially during a summer sunset.

Why I Enjoy Working in Admissions

Education is power! It is very rewarding to be the front line and help students understand the college process and Oregon Tech! Then to see these same students graduate and start working in a field he/she is passionate about is awesome.
