Klamath Falls

Members of the Klamath Falls and Oregon Tech community seeking a convenient spot to start holiday shopping need look no further than the campus store.

A team of Oregon Tech business students won a national business case study competition, taking them to the worldwide stage in April. The contest was designed for business students to work directly with a startup company to develop a solution addressing a real business challenge.

In support of those students who are the first in their families to attend college, Oregon Tech participated in a nationwide event, First-Generation College Celebration, on Nov. 8.

Placing at No. 165 nationwide as one of the Best Universities for a Bachelor’s Degree, the study lists the University’s early career pay at $61,200 and mid-career pay at $106,800

Spending the weeks up until the national competition practicing, the Oregon Tech team members earned a fourth place finish in both the construction speed and construction economy (speed/weight) categories. Overall, the team placed 19th out of 41 teams.

Dr. Afjeh will join Oregon Tech on August 1 from his current position at the University of Toledo
