John Davis is a business, nonprofit, and estate planning attorney at Lynch Murphy McLane, LLP, practicing in Portland and Bend. He was confirmed to the Oregon Tech Board of Trustees in March 2022 and was selected by his fellow trustees to serve as Board Chair beginning in August 2022, succeeding Jessica Gomez.

Before his legal career, Davis served as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives, representing District 26, from 2013 to 2017. He is also a former member and vice president of the Oregon Tech Foundation Board. Davis lives in Wilsonville.
