Volunteer Owls Project
Our mission is to provide community service and volunteer opportunities to the Oregon Tech students and community.
On these pages, you will find information for four different aspects of service:
- Volunteer Fairs
- Alternative Spring Break Service Trip
- Monthly service days in our local community
- Ongoing opportunities for service & volunteerism
V-Owl Service Days
One Saturday per month, students will have the chance to volunteer in a variety of local community service projects taking place throughout the morning in Klamath Falls. Come out and show your OWL colors with support to local community organizations! A free t-shirt and lunch will be provided to participants back on campus following the completion of projects.

Volunteer at the 2016 Annual Merrill Christmas Bazaar
9am- 4pm (you may volunteer in shifts)
Transportation provided if you leave with Josie at 7:30am
Jobs include: Kids Kraft Korner, Silent Auction, Santa Photo Booth
January 1st- 28th
The Volunteers are pairing up with Campus Life, ASOIT, and the Clubs to create the biggest display of love for those who are in need- FOOD! We will build a Food Structure out of all of the donated items.
Saturday, January 28th
Help build the Can Sculpture!
February 18th - Red Tie Romp-Ross Ragland Theater
Volunteer at the Red Tie Romp at the Ross Ragland Theater to support youth art education!
Meet at Campus Life at 4:30pm.
Must wear black slacks and shirt/ dress/ skirt and shirt and black shoes.
You will be serving and bussing tables until 10pm.
You will be provided a blue and gold bow tie to wear to be festive!
March 4th - Klamath Falls YMCA
A service Project is planned to move a few classrooms; then we will prep/clean open classroom to allow another class to begin.
March 27 - 31- Spring Break Service Trip
Join the V-Owls in the Bay Area for the 4th Annual Spring Break Service Trip.

Saturday, April 15th Klamath Falls YMCA
Join us to help the YMCA with spring cleaning.
Saturday, May 13th- Campus Beautification Day
Come volunteer to give our own campus some tender loving care and improve the grounds with the Facilities Staff.
Saturday, June 17th- Commencement
Come volunteer as we congratulate our 2017 graduates.
