Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: Varies
Eligibility: Outstanding community college students who demonstrate financial need, will to succeed and breadth of interest and activities. Applicants should demonstrate achievement and academic ability, desire to engage in and contribute to the world, self-confidence, and resilience.

Eligibility: Students must be attending a two or four year university or college in the Fall of 2017. It is important that you are familiar with computer technology and how you can use new equipment, you have to be flexible and willing to learn quickly.

Picture Keeper Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $1,000-1,500
Eligibility: Must be a legal US resident and currently enrolled at an accredited university or business school in the USA. A 200-300 word essay and photo is required.

Caring.com Student-Caregiver Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: Two awards of $1,500 each
Eligibility: For students attending a U.S. university or college, who have been caring for an older relative while attending school. A 1,500 word essay or 2-minute video is required.

Eligibility: Students must be attending a two or four year university or college in the Spring of 2018. They must have been involved in caregiving for a family member or friend.

Eligibility: Must be a citizen or lawful resident of the US with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to minorities and people with disabilities. An essay of 1,000+ words is required.

Sarasota Dentistry Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: The scholarship is available to undergraduate students attending an accredited university or college. A 1,000-1,500 word essay on “What technology should you expect when going to the dentist in 2017” is required.

Addiction Awareness Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $6,000 first place, $3,000 second place, $1,000 third place
Eligibility: Graduate or undergraduate students enrolled full-time at a college or university. A 1,200 or less word essay on addiction is required.

Frank Betz Associates Scholarship

Scholarship Amount: $2,000 (1st place) and $1,000 (2nd place)
Eligibility: The scholarship is available to students who are currently homeless, have been homeless in the past, are at risk for homelessness, or have worked with the homeless in some demonstrable way. Must be accepted into an accredited post-secondary school with a minimum 2.8 GPA. A 500-1,000 word essay is required.

Eligibility: Any student from a US college or university with a 3.0+ GPA may apply. Requires a 1,500 word essay about how music affects your life.

Video Game Design Scholarship

Eligibility: All prospective and currently enrolled undergraduate students are eligible to apply for this award. An 800-1500 word essay is required.

Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants Scholarship

January 15, 2018
Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Full-time Oregon college/university undergraduate accounting majors, post baccalaureate and master’s program students are eligible to apply. Must attend one of the accredited Oregon colleges or universities in Fall 2018 and have a minimum 3.2 GPA in accounting/business classes and an overall cumulative 3.2 GPA.

Eligibility:

Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Scholarship is offered to students entering or currently pursuing an educational program related to nursing or medicine. Students must be at least 17 years of age and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. A 600-1,000 word essay is required.

Eligibility: Student enrolled in an associate, bachelor's or graduate level program in a science, technology, engineering or math related major. The applicant must have accepted an offer of admission or be attending classes at an accredited college or university before the award is granted.

Eligibility:
The scholarship is available to undergraduate or graduate students who have been accepted to or are currently enrolled at an accredited college or university with a minimum 2.5 GPA. There is a 1,000-2,000 essay required on the subject of internet and education.

Cancer Horizons College Scholarship

Eligibility:
The scholarship is available to undergraduate or graduate students who have been diagnosed with cancer (any type). Must be accepted to or are currently enrolled at an accredited college or university with a minimum 3.0 GPA. There is an essay requirement.

Udall Scholarship – Tribal Public Policy or Native Health Care
Due Date: February 21, 2018 (Oregon Tech campus deadline)
Scholarship Amount: Up to $7,000 per scholar
Eligibility: Applicants must be current college sophomores or juniors committed to careers related to tribal public policy, or Native health care, must be native American or Alaska Native, and plan on attending full time during the 2018-19 academic year.

Udall Scholarship – Environmental Issues

Scholarship Amount: Up to $7,000 per scholar
Eligibility: Applicants must be current college sophomores or juniors committed to careers related to the environment and plan on attending full time during the 2018-19 academic year.
