A Little Bit About Me

I grew up in the small town of Knappa, OR near the Oregon Coast. I enjoy drawing, spending time with my friends and family, cooking, hunting, fishing, and all things outdoors.

Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major

I chose Oregon Tech because of the sense of community at the school and the extra educational opportunities that are available in my major's program.

My Influential Professors

One of my most influential professors is Jeannie Bopp. Ms. Bopp goes above and beyond as an advocate for her students to provide them with the best learning experiences and opportunities after graduation. She has made a great impact on me as person and my education.

My Greatest Learning Experience At Oregon Tech

The greatest learning experience I've had while being at Oregon Tech is the Dental Hygiene International Externship Program. This summer, I got to travel to Jamaica with 9 other of my classmates and work with a nonprofit to provide free dental care to the citizens of Jamaica. Through this trip, I made tremendous growth, learned a lot from dentists and hygienists from around the world, made everlasting memories, and used the skills and education that I am blessed with to help others.

My Plans After Graduation

After graduation, I plan on moving back to my hometown and working as a dental hygienist in a local dental office. I also plan on collaborating with other healthcare providers to provide dental education to different populations across my community.
