Student Spotlight: After graduating from Oregon Tech, Carter would like to attend OHSU for dental medicine and one day open a clinic focusing on affordable dental care for those in need - especially for children. "Oregon Tech has an incredible Bio-Health Science program with well-known professors whose names were heard in Portland, Oregon. I attended middle school in Hillsboro and heard of students like me having great educational success at Oregon Tech."

Oregon Tech proudly announces that ✨ Geomatics Professor and Department Chair Jack Walker has been honored as the 2023 Surveyor of the Year ✨ by the Professional Land Surveyors of Oregon (PLSO). The award recognizes Walker's outstanding contributions to PLSO and the geomatics profession. A graduate of Oregon Tech's surveying program himself, Walker has helped students plot their path for more than 40 years!

Excitement on the oregon_tech campus this week— getinvolvedkf hosted the Get Involved Expo to showcase student organizations. Thanks to Oregon Tech Gaming for the Mario Kart tourney (2nd Place Winner🏅), our Novel Experimental Recreational Foam (N.E.R.F.) Blaster Club for the creative and insightful discussions, and to all our 75+ clubs for their contributions towards student engagement endeavors all year round.

Meet Monica, an Oregon Tech student working on her graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, a full-time mental health graduate program specializing in systems, families, and relationships with a focus on addressing unique challenges in rural areas. Monica is also part of a new grant from the Oregon Health Authority that is helping Oregon Tech behavioral health students continue their graduate studies and eventually fill the growing demand for qualified behavioral healthcare workers in communities across Oregon.
