Oregon Tech staff are experts in the areas of advising, transfer evaluations, course substitutions, tools for registration, and registration procedures. We are here to serve you during your academic program, so feel free to contact us whenever you need assistance or just want to check that you are on the right track.
Advising
Oregon Tech uses a two-advisor model for many of our degree-seeking programs. Student support includes a primary or faculty advisor, your subject-expert and mentor, who provides course suggestions and helps you keep on track. Your second advisor is a professional staff advisor here to answer questions about Oregon Tech's processes and policies, remind you about deadlines, connect you with resources, and provide additional support.
Registration Dates
The Academic Calendar shows the registration dates for each term. To determine your registration time click Web for Student from the TECHWeb portal and continue to the Student Registration menu. Select the Check Your Registration Information to view your registration status, advisor, and registration time.
Course Selection
The Course Schedule shows all the classes offered each term. Additional information includes the Course Reference Number (CRN) required for registration, course descriptions, instructor, cost, and a link to the textbook.
The Projected Course Offerings shows what terms each online class will be offered. This is useful for planning your entire degree.
Register for your courses in Web for Student through the TechWeb.portal.
