Why I Enjoy Working in Admissions: I am passionate about supporting students in pursuing higher education. Choosing your pathway in college can be overwhelming, and I want to help ease the process in any way I can.

I was born in Northern California and have lived in Arizona, Idaho, and Nevada. I earned my Bachelors Degree in Business on the North Shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe, a place I still enjoy visiting. I’m at my happiest when I am sitting on the grass in Phoenix watching spring training baseball with my family, cheering for my beloved Sacramento Kings, or talking about Big Bird with my son Steinbeck. I love rap and hip-hop music and look forward to the Sunday New York Times crossword puzzle each week. What’s Great About Oregon Tech Oregon Tech has programs that are necessary and focused on the future. Through a combination of learning and doing our students graduate with many advantages that make them marketable and knowledgeable in any field of their choice. Why I Enjoy Working in Admissions I admire the ideas and inspiration that I gain from working with young people each day. I believe all students have the ability to succeed in higher education and I enjoy showing them their own personal path.

Ka’iulani began her journey in Klamath Falls in 2008. She played volleyball at Oregon Tech and majored in Applied Psychology with a minor in Communication Studies. When she is not assisting students and families in Admissions, you can find her spending time with family, working on a project, or trying a new recipe.

Favorite Place on Campus
The "O." Hiking to the "O" behind campus is like the challenges we face in life. It can be hard, painful, and an uphill battle- but totally worth it. If you're up for the challenge, take a hike to the "O" where the view is spectacular, especially during a summer sunset.
