student rec center
Student Rec Center features a new multi-purpose sport court, cardio and expanded weight room.

Our students know a thing or two about what it means to hustle—both in and out of the classroom. On courts and fields, in our recreation facilities and fitness center, Oregon Tech Owls put the work in to achieve their athletic goals and stay healthy. The university’s dozen-plus intercollegiate teams represent us at home and on the road, and their classmates don blue and gold to cheer them on. You can also join a variety of club and intramural sports, work out in our fitness center, and participate in eSports challenges.

Newly remodeled in 2020, Oregon Tech’s three-story Recreation Center houses the Danny Miles Court and a new fitness center, weight area, aerobics studio, and sports court. The Center is based on the vision of Oregon Tech students, who modernized the space into what it is today.

And as important as it is to be on campus, we encourage you to embrace nature’s offerings just off campus: Nearby trails and parks give students the space to unwind and explore, and there is no shortage of opportunities to hike, fish, and canoe. Klamath County is the destination for on-the-map attractions and off-the-grid discoveries. You’ll enjoy crisp clean air, brilliant blue waters, wide open spaces, breathtaking views, and an abundance of rivers and lakes along with numerous protected wildlife areas—not to mention 300 days of sunshine annually to take it all in.
