Transfer Student Scholarship

Marine Corps League Crater Lake Detachment #373 Scholarship

Due Date: Postmarked by April 30, 2022

Scholarship Amount: $1,000

Eligibility: The mission of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a student with direct familial association with a Marine Corps League member, regular or associate; child or grandchild of a formal military service member; an applicant with current or former military service. Applicant must either live in, be a graduate of a Klamath County High School, or currently enrolled in a Klamath County college or trade school.

Joann Burns Memorial Scholarship for Health and Science Education

Scholarship Amount: Varies

Eligibility: This scholarship is available to any student accepted into or enrolled in a full-time program leading to a career in the Health and/or Science field. Must have lost a relative to cancer (parent, sibling, aunt, uncle or grandparent), attended a Klamath Basin high school (public or private) and volunteered 50 hours of community service and/or show proof of hours spent aiding an individual battling cancer. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75, with preference given to 3.0 and above.

James Bocchi Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility This scholarship is available to non-first year college students attending and/or accepted into a nursing program at KCC or OHSU/OIT. Must have graduated from a Klamath County or Klamath Basin high school, public or private. A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA is required.

Klamath Falls Elks Nurse's and Health Career's Education Scholarship

Eligibility This scholarship is open to students studying health related fields, with priority given to those accepted/attending the OHSU Nursing program.  Priority also given to graduates of a Klamath County or Klamath Basin high school in any school, public or private. Must have a minimum 2.0 GPA.
