I was born in California and grew up enjoying the beach, mountains, and forests my hometown had to offer. When it came time to begin college, I knew I wanted to land somewhere that still offered incredible access to the outdoors. After some searching, I found myself in Eugene, Oregon, where I received my bachelor’s degree while exploring the troves of wilderness the state has to offer. While earning my Undergraduate degree, I spent several years working in Student Services and Enrollment Management at the University of Oregon, which prompted me to accept a full-time job in Admissions with Oregon Tech. I now live in Portland, where I’m beginning to plant my roots in the PNW. In my free time, I love to rock climb, backpack, surf, hike, read, travel, and watch movies!

Why I Enjoy Working in Admissions

I love working in admissions because it allows me to connect with students who are hoping to enhance both themselves and their future. As an admissions counselor, I have the privilege of providing information, insight, and constant support through what is a life-changing process for most: accessing higher education.
