Management Team attends International Business Accreditation Conference This past week, a team from Oregon Tech attended the Annual Conference of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) accomplishing quite a bit while there: · Faculty-Student Research Presentation: Student Molly Grace, along with Management faculty Dr. Sharon Beaudry, JD, SPHR, PMP, and Kristy M. Weidman, Professor, presented their team’s published paper on the Community-University partnerships that created Oregon Tech’s innovation ecosystem and events like Ready, Set, Innovate and Catalyze Klamath. · Dean’s Roundtable: Dr. Alp networked with business deans from around the world at the dean’s roundtable session to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing business schools. · Service Award: Dr. Sharon Beaudry was recognized for her service as Chair of the Board of Commissioners for IACBE. · Networking, Sharing, & Reconnecting: The group also networked and shared ideas with colleagues, and even reconnected with former Oregon Tech colleague Dr. Laurie Yates.
