Dean Alp's Welcome

Neslihan Alp

Greetings,

Welcome to the College of Engineering, Technology, and Management at Oregon Tech!

As one of Oregon’s seven public universities—and the only institution designated as Oregon’s Polytechnic University—we are proud to offer a distinctive, hands-on educational experience that prepares students for real-world success.

Our College serves nearly 1,500 students and is supported by more than 100 committed full-time and part-time faculty members. With small class sizes and a collaborative, close-knit community, we foster a dynamic learning environment where students receive personalized attention and meaningful mentorship.

With 18 bachelor’s and 4 master’s programs, plus several certificate options, our offerings span diverse fields.  Our programs are available on campuses in Klamath Falls, OR, Wilsonville, OR, and Everett, WA, as well as online.  All our undergraduate engineering and technology programs are ABET accredited, while our business programs hold IACBE accreditation, ensuring rigorous academic standards across disciplines.

We take pride in our applied research efforts in areas like additive manufacturing, renewable energy, semiconductors, and applied computing.  Our students benefit from state-of-the-art facilities and labs, which have been enhanced by over $170 million in investments over the past seven years.  Our small class sizes, hands-on approach, and industry-aligned programs—such as Civil Engineering, Computer Systems, Construction Management, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Geomatics, IT, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering Technology, Tech-Infused Business programs—equip our graduates with the skills they need to excel in real-world settings.

Whether you’re a prospective student, a parent, or an alum, we invite you to visit our campuses, meet our faculty and students, and see firsthand the exciting advancements we’re making.

Go Owls!
