Dr. Alishia Huntoon is a Professor of Psychology and teaches on the Online campus. As an undergraduate, she majored in biology and psychology. She decided to focus on psychology and went on to earn her MS and Ph.D. degrees from Washington State University. She enjoyed college so much that she never left! She has been teaching at Oregon Tech since 2005. She started in Klamath Falls teaching large lecture halls of primarily introductory and social psychology classes. Over the years she taught a wider variety of topics (27!), started to teach online (first was human growth and development), and developed the online degree program. Though no longer on the Klamath campus, she works with students from all locations in her capacity as externship coordinator.
