Biography

How long I have been working here and what path brought me to Oregon Tech

I joined Oregon's Polytechnic University in the fall of 2018. With more than 20 years of fund development and non-profit leadership experience for causes ranging from preschool and child care to higher education and older adult services (including a stint with an ecological restoration organization), I am pleased to work to strengthen and increase donor engagement and philanthropic giving with Oregon Tech’s caring and generous supporters. I enjoy hiking and kayaking, so Klamath Falls' natural beauty and abundant mountain lakes and rivers were an additional attraction. I’m excited for the opportunity to bring my passion for applied learning to engage with Oregon Tech’s community of alumni and friends and advance its mission.

What I am most passionate about professionally

I am most passionate about providing people the opportunity to support what they care about most at Oregon Tech. No matter what one’s personal passion is, there’s something to connect with at the University. Providing a way for loyal alumni and friends to express their passion for athletics, health, engineering, renewable energy, or another program or initiative and make a difference in the world through supporting academic excellence that is meeting the workforce demands of the future is inspirational work that I enjoy very much.

Why I enjoy working in Development & Alumni Relations

I appreciate the dynamic and creative environment, working with dedicated professionals who have a shared mission to make the world a better place, and most importantly I relish the opportunity to connect with loyal big-hearted individuals who care about advancing the mission of Oregon Tech now and for future generations.
