Meet Jake!! 🩺 Jake is a 2017 graduate of the Vascular Technology at Oregon Tech and did his vascular externship with PVA in San Antonio! Jake now runs a mobile imaging company in San Antonio, TX that provides ultrasounds of all varieties: vascular, general, echo and help with vein ablation procedures. Jake’s favorite part about being a vascular technologist is helping with the vein ablation procedures: “It’s something I’ve become very comfortable with and is a more involved supplement to patient care than we most of the time get to be involved with providing the ultrasound.

Today we celebrate and acknowledge the achievements of our Oregon Tech Women’s soccer team! Having won the Cascade Collegiate Conference title, they advanced to the NAIA National Tournament. Oregon Tech business professor, Sharon Beaudry, spent the month of September working on a project at the Southern African Wildlife College in South Africa as an awardee of a Fulbright grant. Oregon Tech president, Dr. Nagi Naganathan, mentioned Beaudry’s Fulbright award for the project in South Africa is an example of international recognition of excellence at Oregon Tech. “I congratulate professor Beaudry on being awarded a Fulbright grant. This is a special honor for her and Oregon Tech. Professor Beaudry’s project in South Africa is a fine example of the benefit of shared knowledge.
