ACADemic Success Seminars

Oregon Tech offers success seminars for new students providing guidance and support during their transition to the university. Students can sign up for these classes during their registration event or through their Web for Student account.

Newly entering Freshmen (who have not attended another college or university after graduating from high school) are provided an Academic Specialist with whom they will cover the contents of a typical freshman success course. However, this material will be delivered on an as-needed basis during one-on-one conversations throughout their first year.
