SOAR REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Oregon Tech is excited to welcome our new Oregon Tech Owls to campus starting on September 27, 2025!

From September 27 to October 4, we'll offer programs essential for your success in the classroom and in our community.

Klamath Falls SOAR Week

Now that you’ve registered for classes, it’s time to acclimate to Oregon Tech, meet fellow students, and prepare for a successful year!

Oregon Tech’s SOAR program provides new student orientation and incoming students and their families with experiences that aid in the university transition process. We inform students of the support available to them and give them opportunities to learn about student involvement, academic success, and the importance of making connections with other students, faculty, and staff.

  • Find Support - Sense of Belonging and Resources
  • Explore Opportunities - Student Involvement and Career Exploration
  • Achieve Academic Success - Skills and Strategies
  • Build Resiliency - Continuing to SOAR at Oregon Tech

Then, our term kicks off with the Week of Welcome each year on the weekend preceding the start of fall term classes. All students join the SIB Team (Student Involvement and Belonging) for daily activities and tons of fun.

You are welcome! You are seen!

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all Oregon Tech-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact GetInvolved@oit.edu in advance.
