Oregon Tech’s S.O.A.R. program provides NEW and INCOMING students and their families with experiences that aid in the university transition process; inform students of the supports available to them; opportunities to learn about student involvement and academic success; as well as make connections with other students, faculty and staff."

  • Find Support - Sense of Belonging and Resources

  • Explore Opportunities - Student Involvement and Career Exploration

  • Achieve Academic Success - Skills & Strategies

  • Build Resiliency - Continuing to SOAR at Oregon Tech

Then, our term kicks off with the Week of Welcome each year on the weekend preceding the start of fall term classes. All students join the SIB Team (Student Involvement & Belonging) for daily activities and tons of fun.

You are welcome! You are seen!

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all Oregon Tech-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact GetInvolved@oit.edu in advance.
