Following Oregon Tech’s receipt of the Military Ti

The Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech) Foundation Board welcomed a new member recently.

The following students have been named to the 2020-2021 Summer Term President's and Dean's list at Oregon Institute of Technology. Only full-time undergraduate students (12 credit hours or more at Oregon Tech) are eligible for academic honors. Please contact the Registrar's Office at 541-885-1300 with any questions.

PRESIDENT'S LIST
The following students have been named to the President's list at Oregon Institute of Technology. Inclusion on the list requires a 3.70 grade-point average and above.

Oregon Institute of Technology (Oregon Tech) has received official designation from the Oregon Legislature as Oregon’s Polytechnic University through the passage of House Bill 2472A. The designation identifies Oregon Tech as the state’s polytechnic university, specializing in tech-infused degrees and a unique teaching and learning approach that is hands-on, experiential and project-based.

Students were joined by family and friends at their homes as Oregon Institute of Technology virtually celebrated the Class of 2021 Saturday, June 12.

Each year, graduating students from Oregon Tech are selected to represent their college of study as commencement speakers at the annual ceremony. Representing the Class of 2021 are Josie Page Hanel, Christian Gomez, and Walker M. York for the Oregon Institute of Technology virtual commencement ceremony June 12, 2021.

A five-year contract was agreed between Oregon Tech and its Faculty Union early Tuesday morning (May 4, 2021). Both parties came to terms after 1 year, 4 months and 28 days of negotiations. Inaugural contracts are known to take a very long time to come to fruition, and these negotiations vastly occurred during a global pandemic.
