Supporting Oregon Tech

A limited portion of Oregon Tech's budget is provided by state appropriations. Support from private donors enables Oregon Tech to build a great university and maintain an unparalleled level of excellence for students. Private donors allow Oregon Tech to offer innovative and rigorous multi-dimensional degree programs in the areas of applied technologies, engineering, health professions, applied sciences, communication and business.. Your gift is especially important as state support continues to decline. Our students need your help to ensure that Oregon Tech can continue to provide state‐of‐the‐art equipment and technology, hands-on learning experiences, and a high quality of education.

DeArmond Fellows at OMIC R&D

Dearmond Fellows

The DeArmond Fellows are experiencing a one of a kind internship this summer at Oregon Manufacturing Innovation Center R&D in Scappoose, concurrent with a special four-year scholarship at Oregon Tech from the Robert J. and Leona DeArmond Public Foundation. The fellows are mentoring with OMIC R&D researchers and industry experts, assisting and contributing on real-world professional level research and development projects, and expanding their skills and knowledge through trainings on state-of-the-art machining operations and techniques.

Student Club Spotlight:

Oregon Tech Racing clubs are an excellent example of how our students are using hands-on, applied learning beyond the classroom. These impressive students come together each year to design, build, and test a new car from the ground up, fabricating many of the elements right here on campus. The end reward is competing with a finished car in international competitions where they contend with top universities around the world.
