President
Bryce Wilson
Major/ Program: CSET Software Engineering
Hi, I’m Bryce! I'm an Embedded Systems Engineering student and the President of ASOIT PM. I’m passionate about connecting hardware and software through embedded projects, programming in C, C++, and digital design in Verilog. Beyond academics, I lead student initiatives to improve campus life. I’m also the Founder and President of the Oregon Tech Chess Club, where I enjoy teaching new players and building community. I as well, work as a peer tutor in math, computer science, and writing, helping others grow and succeed. Having lived across different parts of the West Coast, I value diverse communities and strive to be a supportive friend, leader, and role model here at Oregon Tech.

Vice President
Jason French
Major/ Program: Electronics Engineering Technology
Hello, I’m Jason! I’m a Module Engineer with over 10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and 14 years of service in the Washington Army National Guard. My background spans electro-mechanical systems maintenance, process improvement, and team leadership in technical environments. At Intel, I worked on troubleshooting and calibrating advanced process tools, authored technical specifications, and trained technicians to strengthen collaboration between engineering and operations. In the Guard, I maintained radar systems, managed equipment readiness, and developed safety and training improvements. Currently, I’m pursuing a B.S. in Electronics Engineering at Oregon Institute of Technology, where I continue building on my technical expertise and leadership experience to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Administrative Officer
Ted Mastrangelo
Major/ Program: CSET Software
Hi, I’m Ted! I grew up in Portland, Oregon. My interest in programming began during a brief foray into game development. After earning an Associate of Science degree from Portland Community College, I transferred to Oregon Tech to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering Technology. My time at Oregon Tech has been enriched by various campus roles that have allowed me to connect with and support the student community. Last year I served as the Admin Officer of ASOIT and I am honored to be returning for a second year in this role. Being part of ASOIT gives me the opportunity to advocate for students, contribute to positive changes on campus, and help foster a stronger sense of community. In addition, I have worked at the Campus Information Center, where I enjoy welcoming students and visitors and assisting them with their needs, as well as in Student Services as a cashier.

Student Outreach Officer
Jessica Armenta
Major/ Program: Mechanical Engineering
Hello! My name is Jessica. I’m a first-generation student majoring in Mechanical Engineering. I’m originally from Santa Barbara, California. My passion for engineering and drafting began during my time in my high school’s engineering academy, and it has only grown since. After graduating from OIT, I plan to continue my education and eventually pursue a career in public transportation and high-speed rail, working as an on-site engineer or drafter. After serving as Outreach Officer last year, I’m excited to return for a second year. Being part of ASOIT has been a rewarding experience, allowing me to support my peers, drive positive change, and strengthen the OIT community. In addition to my role with ASOIT, I am also the president of Oregon Latine, a club dedicated to providing a space for Hispanic and Latine-identifying students and allies to connect. I’m excited for the year ahead and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact at OIT!
