

What did you like most about Oregon Tech?
The environment within the psychology department fosters a highly supportive atmosphere that encourages both personal and professional growth among students. I have been afforded numerous opportunities to engage in activities that facilitate professional and academic development. The professors with whom I have studied have consistently demonstrated understanding and have motivated me to strive for excellence. My advisors have been instrumental in providing the necessary support to guide me in selecting and pursuing my degree. Furthermore, I have received substantial assistance within the Oregon Tech community, enabling me to develop and apply the skills I have acquired throughout my academic journey.
What did you find the most useful or beneficial?
The most beneficial aspect of Oregon Tech for me has been its location. It has enabled me, as a non-traditional student, to pursue my education within my local area. Additionally, the remote classes have facilitated interactions with professors working in diverse environments relevant to my field of study. Furthermore, the master classes offered in the evening allow me to maintain my employment to support my family while concurrently advancing my academic pursuits.
Where do you work/ what is your job now?
I am currently employed within the psychology department at Oregon Tech, where I serve as the program manager for two applied experience programs.
