A Little Bit About Me
I've grown up most of my life in Warrenton, OR with a four-year break in the middle where we lived in Prineville, OR. I enjoy reading and watching Netflix. I also love my current job. I work at a donut shop called Dundee's Donuts. My coworkers are amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better boss. I'm a very independent person with few friends, but I like it that way. I also really like school, weird, I know. Not many kids can say that and truly mean it, but I do. I love to learn. I love to expand my knowledge. I also really like a good challenge because of what I learn in the problem-solving process. If I've learned anything in my life, it's that there's never only one lesson; there are multiple, you just might have to open your eyes a little wider.
Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major
In 7th grade I got really sick. Strep throat, the flu, and pneumonia all hit at once. I was hospitalized for a while. Then it all complicated, and I got empyema and was hospitalized again for longer. Through this, a lot of X-rays were taken along with CT's, a few MRI's, and ultrasounds. I decided to be a Radiologist because of this. Choosing a school was easy; Oregon Tech was ideal. I just had to find a major that fit.
My Greatest Learning Experience At Oregon Tech
My greatest learning experiences came from my history and English classes. My English teachers always pushed me to improve my writing further than it already was. I had one particular history teacher that was just amazing. He truly knew a lot about the subject and he was always eager to learn more. In his class, I learned a lot about American history and it's truly eye-opening to see how far we've come.
My Plans After Graduation
Once I graduate with my degree, I plan to go to Medical School, assuming I get in. After that, I plan to work at a big hospital doing what I love. I'd also love to have a family later in life, much later in life.
