A Little Bit About Me
I grew up in Roseburg, Oregon. I have a certificate in Medical Assisting that I achieved from Umpqua Community College. That was when I discovered my interest in the medical field. I have worked as a medical imaging scheduler over the past few years and have learned a lot. I am excited to continue my career path. I am a single mother to a teenage daughter. She is the light of my life, and I am proud to be given the chance to be a good role model to her.
Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major
I am a returning student, and I have been dreaming of completing my major. I could not complete it due to life circumstances, and am very excited to be given a second chance.
My Greatest Learning Experience At Oregon Tech
I have a good understanding of Medical Imaging as I worked as a scheduler at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, OR.
My Plans After Graduation
I plan on joining the job force as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Oregon.
