Most of my extracurricular activities include taking my daughter to her sporting events! She's currently enrolled in soccer and gymnastics.
A Little Bit About Me
In my profile picture you can see myself, my daughter (4 years old) and a few classmates at a community health event where we shared information on our clinic's low-cost services and handed out free dental supplies.
Why I Chose Oregon Tech and My Major
At a very young age I knew I wanted to go into the dental field. I spent a lot of time at the dentist as a child and surprisingly enough that didn't scare me away. I've always wanted to provide other children and adults with pleasant dental experiences because it really can be such a scary time for some people.
My Influential Professors
Paula Hendrix, Jessica Luebbers, Charrise Botsch and Kimberly Dayton are four professors/adjuncts that have made a huge impact on my success in this program.
My Greatest Learning Experience At Oregon Tech
The endless clinical hours I have gotten to attend so far have given me so much opportunity to prepare myself to be able to serve my community in the best way possible. Volunteering at the Boys and Girls Club as well as Salem Free Clinic have taught me how to show grace and love to those who I have only just met.
