Registration is open for the Winter/Spring Critical Care Transport Series

OHSU/Oregon Tech's Critical Care Transport class series is the first of its kind offering flexible online learning, FP-C and CC-P exam prep, credits toward a paramedic centered BS degree, and hands-on clinical time in various ICU environments.

Critical Care Transport Overview

This two series Critical Care Transport class is designed to prepare the paramedic for advanced critical care on ground and air transports. This includes providing advanced clinical patient assessments and providing invasive care beyond the standard scope of advanced pre-hospital care.

Upon completion of this series the student may take the Certified Flight Paramedic (FP-C) and/or the Certified Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C) exams held by the International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC).

The class is designed to bring in experts from different aspects of critical care in order to maximize learning. Later in this winter through spring series the student branches into OHSU clinical rotations with "hands-on" specialized ICU care rotations.

What makes our Critical Care Transport Series remarkable?

This is not just a test-prep course. This is a real-life prep course.
PhDs, MDs, PAs, NPs, and critical care paramedics providing lectures within their expertise.
50 hours of hands-on clinical rotations in medical, neurosciences, trauma surgical, and cardiovascular ICU.
We understand that school is not your only activity. Our on-line module and video based learning allows you to work around your schedule.
Often the same ICU specialist providing the lectures for a given topic will also be providing the hands-on clinical rotation in their ICU providing strong instructional continuity between the book work and real-life.
Adam Wagner, BS NRP FP-C - With over 10 years of teaching and EMS field experience, Adam is dedicated to coordinating this class and creating a streamlined learning environment. Adam makes sure that your questions are answered at the depth you need and that the information is presented in a digestible and applicable manner.
We believe that successful and quality learning typically does not happen in a large crowd. Our class series is capped at 15 students to allow for elbow room in your clinical and classroom environment.
You want to be ready for national critical care certification exams, flight or ground? No problem! For more details, please visit the International Board of Specialty Certification website.
