The Administrative Council represents the ideas, interests, and welfare of unclassified staff members of Oregon Institute of Technology.
The Administrative Council:
- Serves in an advisory capacity to the President and other administrators
- Promotes collaboration and shared governance through representation on President's Council, Faculty Senate, and Fiscal Operations Advisory Council
- Considers appropriate campus-wide issues where the input and/or interests of unclassified staff are relevant, and makes appropriate recommendations regarding these issues
- Reviews proposed Oregon Institute of Technology policies and procedures and advises appropriate parties accordingly
- Strives to strengthen connections between unclassified staff and the university community
Definition of unclassified staff: those employees of Oregon Tech that serve in unclassified positions.
Kudos Award
Each month, the Administrative Council accepts nominations for the Unclassified Staff Kudos Award. Criteria are as follows:
