AAMFT Minority Fellowship Program (MFP)

The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Minority Fellowship Program (MFP) is a year-long professional development and networking opportunity for graduate students in MFT Programs. The goal of the program is to increase the number of culturally competent MFTs providing mental health and substance use services to diverse clients from marginalized populations. MFPs receive an identified amount of funding to be used towards their education while they also spend the year learning from MFTs across the country. Oregon Tech MFT students are encouraged to apply.

Federal Loan Repayment Program

Marriage and family therapists interested in working in under served areas like southern Oregon are eligible for loan repayment opportunities from the National Health Services Corps Loan Repayment Program.
