Since 1970, Oregon Tech’s original program has been located on its Klamath Falls residential campus in southern Oregon. The program is known for its community outreach and low student-to-faculty ratio of 5:1 for clinic experiences, and 10:1 for labs. Enrollment in the professional program is limited in Klamath Falls to 20-22 students per year. Enrollment in the pre-dental hygiene courses is open to anyone meeting Oregon Tech admission requirements.
One year of prerequisite (pre-dental hygiene) coursework is required for students prior to entry into the professional program. Pre-requisite courses may be taken at any community college or university and transferred in to Oregon Tech following our transfer guide. The Dental Hygiene program offers a mix of face-to-face, online and blended courses as part of the curriculum.
