Celia Núñez serves as Deputy Director of the Higher Education Coordinating Commission's Office of Community Colleges and Workforce Development, where she leads state strategic policy and funding coordination for Oregon's community colleges and workforce partners. She previously served as executive director of the Chemeketa Center for Business and Industry and spent many years as a Wilsonville city councilor, including as council president.
Núñez is a former Oregon Tech trustee, having first served on the board from 2015 to 2019 before returning in 2022. She holds a bachelor's degree and an MBA from George Fox University and is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School Executive Program. She lives in Redmond.
