Dr. Johnnie Early II built a 37-year career serving as dean of pharmacy schools, most recently the Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, a role he held from 2018 to 2024. He also served as dean at the University of Toledo and the Medical University of South Carolina.
Early holds a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Mercer University and a master's degree and Ph.D. in pharmacology and toxicology from Purdue University. He is an honorary member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and now serves as a Scholar in Residence with the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy.
